Our dedicated team includes an account manager, a procurement agent, a customer business specialist (CBS), and a warehouse specialist who provide comprehensive support for our client’s critical technologies. Through this lengthy partnership, the entertainment company conquered the complexity of its digital infrastructure, ensuring long-term business growth amid technological evolutions in the entertainment sector.

Our client is a global entertainment company based in the United States with a multifaceted business model encompassing content production, distribution, and direct-to-consumer streaming and media services. Its footprint includes over a dozen offices and thousands of employees.

The Problem
As its digital infrastructure became increasingly critical with the rise of content streaming, the entertainment company required comprehensive technology services to ensure seamless IT operations. Standardizing order and asset management was also crucial to maintaining operational continuity and improving efficiency. Due to these multifaceted needs, our client sought third-party expertise to supplement its staff as it contended with new technological requirements to support its expansion.
The BlueAlly Solution
Our managed services partnership empowered the entertainment company with end-to-end solutions encompassing numerous specialties, showcasing BlueAlly’s diverse expertise. Our on-site procurement agent collaborates closely with internal stakeholders to support long-term IT requirements, while our CBS processes and manages daily orders to support immediate technological needs, including laptops, desktop computers, and other essential hardware.
As part of this collaboration, we created and managed a standardized catalog that integrated seamlessly with Ariba, our client’s existing procurement system. Our warehousing services also enable same-day delivery, asset tagging, customized configuration, and staging that facilitate rapid equipment turnarounds. This provided immense value, as it presented no additional costs according to our service agreement.
We also developed a mobility services program to support the entertainment company’s mobile device needs, including carrier plan management and technological deployments. This program enabled us to cultivate and manage our client’s growing mobile device population while providing regular reports detailing cost reduction metrics. Our mobility program was so successful that the entertainment company eventually absorbed this team, hiring BlueAlly’s specialists to manage its mobility services permanently.
The Results
This managed services partnership augmented our client’s existing staff to streamline numerous processes across its digital infrastructure, resulting in cost savings, enhanced efficiency, standardization, and improved flexibility. Aside from end-user equipment, we also bolstered its IT operations by recommending networking, security, and virtualization solutions, including Cisco, Palo Alto, Citrix, and others. Ultimately, our collaboration simplified operations and strengthened the entertainment company’s IT infrastructure, helping it support the evolving requirements of content streaming and other business-critical applications.
