BlueAlly is looking for a Senior Solution Architect to join our team and serve in a Pre-sales capacity as a Subject Matter Expert (SMEs) and trusted advisor to our Southeast Sales team.

This position is remote but candidates must currently reside in one of the following areas: North Carolina, South Carolina or Georgia

Required Knowledge, Education & Experience:

  • Significant experience with network solutions from Cisco, Fortinet, Aruba, and Extreme along with security experience with Fortinet, Sophos, Palo Alto, and Cisco
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills are critical
  • Previous experience working with any of the above manufacturers a plus or experience working in a value added reseller environment
  • 10+ years of experience in Information Technology as technical engineer or sales engineer interfacing directly with client executives
  • Knowledge of Enterprise level networking design and architecture concepts and technologies

These roles will be responsible for business development, new account acquisition, achieving sales targets, and developing strong customer relationships with Commercial, Mid-Market Enterprise businesses and SLED accounts.

With the support of our field-based Solution Architects and Subject Matter Experts, you will be assisting customers by helping them select, deploy and manage their technology. With our ongoing training, you will be able to offer customers in-depth technology solutions across a wide variety of IT products and services.

Required Knowledge, Education & Experience:

  • Five (5) or more years of outside technology sales experience (customer facing) with the ability to demonstrate existing business relationships in the local market
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and/or military experience
  • Candidates should have prior experience selling advanced technology solutions from Cisco, Citrix, Dell EMC, Fortinet, HPE/Aruba, Palo Alto, Riverbed, and other BlueAlly strategic partners, as well as, Managed and Professional services.

BlueAlly is always looking for strong Network Engineers to join our teams based in the following areas:

Overland Park, KS and Richardson, TX area.

As a Network Engineer for BlueAlly you will be providing technical services to optimize network reliability and performance for our customers with the following responsibilities:

  • Assist senior engineers in evaluation of the customer's network for performance, scalability, and security and implement recommendations to network configurations and topologies to improve operational performance and identify/mitigate major risk areas
  • Apply technical expertise and understanding to resolve network design problems with the customer's current network architecture
  • Partner with the customer's network support team to create and execute a long-term network plan with the customer
  • Execute short-term projects such as recommendation and implementation of partner software and hardware features in the customer's network
  • Support senior level engineers in training the customer’s design, implementation and support personnel to configure and operate the Partner Networks products
  • Understand the customer’s organizational structure and become familiar with the customer’s network implementation and support processes and procedures
  • Carry out testing of new features and functionality required by the customer in a laboratory environment and implement and verify that they are operating correctly in the live network

Required Knowledge, Education & Experience:

  • 3-5 years’ experience as a Network Engineer
  • Experience with large enterprise class or service provider networks preferred
  • Experience with Juniper or Cisco routing/switching products desired
  • Good understanding of IP networking concepts/protocols is mandatory
  • Experience with Python and other scripting languages highly desired
  • Experience with Linux Operating System such as RedHat and CentOS

Job Description

BlueAlly is always looking for Security Analysts to join our Security Operations team. These roles can be based in any of the following BlueAlly locations:

Overland Park KS, Vienna VA, or Des Moines IA.

This role is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, troubleshooting, and escalating network and security events and problems in a 24x7 operations environment.

You will use a combination of technical (Networking, Security, Linux, Windows) and customer service skills to support our Managed Security Services (MSS) customers. This will include call support, email and ticketing support and tracking problems until they are resolved.

In addition, your responsibilities will include:

  • Provide Network Health surveillance and alarm reporting utilizing network monitoring and surveillance software
  • Use our security incident event monitoring platform to monitor security events and traffic patterns for suspicious events and anomalous activity
  • Use our network analytics and reporting tools to monitor, troubleshoot, escalate and report network issues
  • Adhere to SLAs when prioritizing and reporting issues to customers and escalation channels
  • Assist customers in troubleshooting network & security issues
  • Identify potential problem areas and take corrective action to implement short-term and long-term protective actions
  • Provide analysis and trending of network and security log data from a large number of heterogeneous devices
  • Provide Incident Response support when analysis confirms actionable incidents
  • Provide threat and vulnerability analysis as well as security advisory services
  • Analyze and respond to previously undisclosed software and hardware vulnerabilities
  • Investigate, document, and report on information security issues and emerging trends
  • Maintain a broad knowledge of all products, services and NSOC procedures
  • Communicate with customers on a regular basis regarding the customers’ network and security posture, rule sets, and alerting criteria
  • Assists in keeping an orderly workspace to include assisting in removing trash, cleaning work area, organizing equipment (cables, servers, switches, etc.)

Required Knowledge, Education & Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a security/network administrator, or in a Security or Network Operations Center
  • Knowledge of networking protocols, network analysis, and network/security applications
  • Knowledge of security methodologies and processes, and technical security solutions (firewall and intrusion detection systems)
  • Good understanding of IP networking concepts/protocols is mandatory
  • Previous experience with tools used in monitoring the network, including log management systems, ticketing systems, and network health systems
